Labour Inspection
- The Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs shall conduct inspections of workplaces to ensure compliance with the provisions of this law.
- Inspectors have the authority to enter workplaces without prior notice.
- Employers and employees must provide all necessary facilities to the inspectors.
Duties of Inspectors
- Inspectors must ensure the application of the law and regulations related to the safety and health of workers.
- Inspectors must submit periodic reports on the inspection results to the Ministry.
- Inspectors must provide advice and guidance to employers and workers on improving working conditions.
Penalties
- Anyone who violates the provisions of this law shall be punished with a fine.
- Imprisonment may be imposed in cases of serious violations.
- The establishment may be temporarily or permanently closed in case of repeated violations.
Grievances
- Either party has the right to file a grievance with the Ministry regarding any decision made by the inspectors.
- The Ministry must review and decide on the grievance within a period not exceeding thirty days.
- The Ministry’s decision may be appealed before the competent court.
Legal Protection
- Inspectors enjoy legal protection while performing their duties.
- Inspectors may not be obstructed or hindered from performing their duties.
