Part One: Combating Discrimination

Discrimination in the workplace is prohibited under Saudi labor law. The law bans any discrimination between workers based on gender, religion, nationality, or race. Employers must provide an equal work environment that offers all workers equal opportunities for development and promotion without discrimination.

The law also protects workers from any discriminatory practices affecting their financial or employment rights. Employers must ensure fairness in task distribution, performance evaluation, and promotions.

Part Two: Combating Harassment

Combating workplace harassment is an essential part of Saudi labor law. Employers must take all necessary measures to prevent any instances of sexual or moral harassment in the workplace. These measures should include clear anti-harassment policies and training workers on how to handle such situations.

Workers who are harassed can file complaints with the relevant authorities without fear of retaliation. Employers must investigate all complaints seriously and take necessary measures to protect victims and punish harassers.
