Part One: Equality in the Workplace

Saudi laws stipulate equality between men and women in job opportunities, wages, and promotions. The law prohibits any gender-based discrimination and ensures women’s rights to work under the same conditions and benefits enjoyed by men.

Women’s rights in the workplace include paid maternity leave, the right to return to work after the leave period, and the right to work in an environment free from harassment and discrimination.

Part Two: Supporting Working Women

Saudi laws encourage supporting working women by providing a suitable work environment that meets their specific needs. This includes providing childcare facilities in large workplaces, offering specialized training programs for women, and encouraging women’s employment in leadership and administrative positions.

Working women also have the right to work in part-time or flexible schedules to balance work and family life. These policies support women’s active participation in the workforce and enhance their role in economic and social development.
